The terms and conditions presented here are intended to govern the provision of services at CALMA BOUTIQUE HOUSE, a local accommodation establishment with License No. 144059/AL, with the unique registration and legal person number 226273954, located at Santa Rita – 8900-059 Vila Nova de Cacela, Portugal.

Accommodation bookings

To make an accommodation reservation, you must:

Fill in the contact form or send an email to bookings@calmaboutiquehouse.com.
Within 48 hours you will receive an email confirming availability for the dates you want and payment details, and pay 50% of the cost of your stay.
When you have paid, you must send proof of payment to bookings@calmaboutiquehouse.com.
We do not make pre-bookings unless otherwise agreed. Accommodation is only confirmed once payment has been made.

You must pay the remaining 50% up to 7 working days before check-in and send proof by email to bookings@calmaboutiquehouse.com.

All stays include rental of the house for the agreed period, weekly cleaning (for longer than 7 nights staying) and change of bed linen and towels, periodic pool maintenance.

Deposit

The security deposit against breakages and damages of €300 must be paid up to 24 hours before check-in by bank transfer or Revolut.

The security deposit will be refunded up to 1 week after the check-out date, to the client’s IBAN or Revolut account, after checking the house, property and contents, with no damages to report or penalties to pay (smoking inside the house, receiving visitors, having parties or other events, using the bath towels in the pool and other infractions of the regulations are accounted for).

Means of Payment and Invoices

All payments must be made by Bank Transfer or Bank Deposit to the account with the IBAN indicated at the time of booking or by Revolut – including for the accommodation deposit/caution.

For reasons of environmental responsibility, invoices are only sent by email. You need to request the invoice in advance until your check-out.

Information

You will receive an email shortly before the start of your stay:

  • Reminder of the security deposit
  • Arranging delivery of the keys
  • Directions to Calma Boutique House
  • Suggested activities and walks
  • Reminder of the regulations

Changes

We are flexible, but requests for changes must be evaluated and accepted in advance. This may – or may not – alter the conditions originally agreed. Talk to us, so that together we can find an alternative if for reasons of force majeure you cannot keep the reservation for the agreed dates.

Cancellation Conditions

You can cancel your booking under the following conditions:

Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before check-in.
If booked less than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of booking.
After that, 50% refund up to 7 days before check-in.
After that, no refunds will be issued.
All refunds are made to the IBAN provided by the client for this purpose.

No show or early departure

In the event of a “no show”, there will be no refund of the amounts paid.

If the accommodation deposit has already been paid, it will be returned in full within 24 hours.
