Calma Boutique House cares deeply about your privacy. We therefore only process data we need for (improving) our services and treat the information we have collected about you with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

For processing reservations and guest administration, we use Smoobu. This channel manager has extensive personal data security so that your data cannot reach third parties. Smoobu is bound to confidentiality under our agreement with them and may not share data with third parties without express consent from you and us.

Purpose of data processing

We use the data solely for the purpose of providing our services. That is, the purpose of the processing is always directly related to your stay at Calma Boutique House.   3. c) your name, address and telephone number – used for sending invitations and also for information about services and activities of Calma Boutique House;
  4. d) Your name, address details, passport details – used for correct handling with the Portuguese authorities being the Finanças and the SEF, the tax authorities and the immigration authorities. The data will be kept for as long as Portuguese law requires.
  5. e) your name and bank account number – used to process payments for services purchased.

2.3 Your name, email address and telephone number will be used up to two years after the end of the agreement to ask you about your experiences with Calma Boutique House. We also use this to inform you about the developments of Calma Boutique House.

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about website visitors who are under the age of 16. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to avoid collecting data about children without parental consent. Calma Boutique House processes and stores your personal data for the duration of your stay up to a maximum of two years after this stay. However, or as long as Portuguese law requires this regarding the retention of administrative data for the tax authorities and foreigners’ authorities. 4.4 Calma Boutique House uses the services of DMNS – DOMINIOS, S.A. for hosting and domain registration. Both parties have taken appropriate measures to ensure secure storage of your personal data. These are exclusively automated systems where no personal action comes between them.

5. Right of inspection, removal and requests for complaints

5.1 Via the administration of Calma Boutique House you can submit a request to view, receive, change or delete your personal data. Calma Boutique House will process your request and inform you within one month of receipt.

5.2 If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data as referred to in Article 2, you can also contact the administration.
